Photographs show a sandbar landing, a dirt street of raised thatch houses, people standing with a boat, the ordinary work of a riverside day. SAGE International independently published rafts at the same village. The people are visible. They are not, here, named.
Until they choose to name themselves in public, this is enough: the people who make Mu Aye Pu a place farm, fish, build, cook, teach, keep forest and raise children. They are the centre. A website does not introduce them as staff.
Faces of children, private names, addresses and telephone numbers are not published.
